Veronica Martinez, LCSW
Founder, Bloom from Within Counseling
Veronica is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of Bloom From Within Counseling.
Her journey to becoming a therapist is deeply personal. As the mother of a child with autism, she experienced firsthand the emotional challenges that come with navigating diagnoses, therapies, advocating for your child, and balancing the many responsibilities of everyday life. Like many caregivers, she often found herself putting everyone else's needs before her own. Those experiences taught her the importance of resilience, self-compassion, and having a safe place to process life's challenges. They also inspired her to become a therapist so she could help others find hope, healing, and strength.
As the daughter of immigrant parents, Veronica grew up witnessing the sacrifices, resilience, and determination that shaped her family. She also understands the cultural expectations many women experience—feeling responsible for caring for everyone else while struggling to make time for themselves. These experiences have given her a deep appreciation for the unique challenges faced by women, especially Latina women, as they navigate family, relationships, motherhood, identity, and life's many transitions.
Veronica earned her Bachelor of Arts in Social Work from Rutgers University and her Master of Social Work from New York University. Her professional and personal experiences have shaped a compassionate, culturally responsive approach to therapy that honors each person's unique story.
Her approach is warm, collaborative, and free of judgment. She believes therapy is more than talking about problems—it's about discovering your strengths, learning healthier ways to cope, and creating lasting change. Together, you'll work toward helping you feel more confident, connected, and emotionally well. Moreover, Veronica looks forward to supporting you as you begin your journey to bloom from within.
